Store, returns, and customs policies

Information on VAT, customs, store policies, cancellation, and item returns.

 

  • All orders shipped outside of Mexico may be subject to duties, customs, VAT, or taxes. International shipping costs do not include these duties. If customs duties apply, payment is the sole responsibility of the recipient.

  • VAT/Customs: VAT, customs duties, or taxes are controlled and collected directly by your country once the package reaches the customs checkpoint. You may be required to clear your package directly through customs and may also be required to pay these fees. Please check your tracking number for the most up-to-date information.

  • To determine an approximate amount of these fees, you can contact your country's customs office. Carla Peraza Art does not collect VAT or customs duties and is not responsible for any duties or VAT taxes charged by your country. These fees are the sole responsibility of the customer, so please purchase carefully and be sure to keep a record of your order to pay for customs fees once it arrives. ♡

  • Returns by mail: If the customer does not clear a package through customs, it will be returned to my studio.

​

  • If I receive a returned package, I will gladly reship it, charging the customer a new shipping fee (this will be the actual shipping fee it costs to ship your item, not the flat rate you paid when purchasing from my store). If you prefer a refund, please note that the refund will be the original cost less the shipping fee and a $50 USD handling and restocking fee.

  • Your order can only be canceled up to 24 hours after purchase, via email. The restocking fee is 50% of your order total.

  • We do not accept cancellations after 24 hours of purchase, including pre-orders. Cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it by emailing Tarastudioart@gmail.com.

  • Please purchase with caution, as my business is small, so I cannot control your country's tariffs, taxes, or duties. Due to the delicate nature of the artwork and our small business, we cannot accept returns or exchanges at this time.

  • By purchasing from Carla Peraza Art, you agree to these terms. We greatly appreciate your patience and support.
